iBand makes music with two fingers… and iPhone

Six fingers and three iPhones are enough to create a band, and Austria’s iBand is living proof, having scored a hit on the Internet by converting the little gadgets into a guitar, a keyboard and a set of drums.

The Viennese trio first gained attention in February on the video-sharing website YouTube with its music video “Life is greater than the Internet.”

it’s no secret – our planet is slowly deteriorating. although environmental degradation can also be caused by natural events, man’s activities are creating a much bigger damage.

but we can do something to help. every little bit helps. today would be the best day to start. after all, its earth’s day.

if you have been watching the news or reading the papers lately, you would know that the philippines is experiencing a sort of “rice crisis” (notice quotation marks).

the government assures that there is no rice crisis. however, they acknowledge that the supply is tight. but we can help reduce the gap between the supply and demand.

According to studies, we waste 25,000 sacks of rice everyday, which when saved is enough to feed almost 4 million starving Filipinos. as philrice always says “save rice, save lives.”

turns out, rice can save more than just lives, it can save the life of the mobile phone or ipod you dropped in water.
